A Passion for Saving Teeth
Dr. Jason Phan is a specialist endodontist in Torrance, California, and the former President of the Southern California Academy of Endodontists — elected by his peers for two consecutive terms (2022-2023 and 2023-2024). He served on the SCAE Board of Directors from 2019 to 2025. With advanced training from UCLA and USC, plus service in the U.S. Army, he brings a unique combination of technical excellence, professional leadership, and calm professionalism to every procedure.
Education & Training
Dr. Phan's journey in dentistry began at UCLA, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from USC School of Dentistry, one of the nation's top-ranked dental schools.
Recognizing his passion for saving teeth, Dr. Phan pursued additional specialized training in endodontics—a rigorous program focused exclusively on diagnosing and treating problems inside the tooth.

The presidency of the Southern California Academy of Endodontists is an elected position. Fellow endodontists across Southern California nominated and voted for Dr. Phan to lead their professional organization for two consecutive terms. We also welcome patients other practices may not be equipped to handle: severe dental anxiety, complex multi-canal anatomy, and cases that require the combination of laser disinfection, GentleWave cleaning, CBCT 3D imaging, surgical microscopes, and sedation options. Having every advanced tool under one roof means no case is beyond our capability.
